Stocks from Hell

This page is based on one simple assumption:

"If this stock is so damned good, why are you sending me email about it?"

Stock touts by voice or by fax are fairly worthless, as a rule, unless you happen to be on the ins with the powers that be, in which case you're teetering perilously close to insider trading, for which the SEC will bestow unto you a frown or two. A stock tout by email, I reason, since it is presumably sent to the untold millions whose addresses are sold on CD for $199.95, can't possibly be any good; it's hype, nothing more.

With this in mind, I'm going to post some of the stock touts that are routinely spammed my way, with the expectation that someone who gets the same spam and hits the search engines will be properly discouraged. All text is as received; notations by me are in italics. If you are pushing stocks and you would not like to see them on this page, make sure I don't get your spam.

Disclaimer: Listing on this page is not an expression of opinion about the actual firms themselves. There is no reason to assume that they aren't on the up-and-up. Still, hiring a spammer to hype your stock isn't a good way to endear yourself to the general public.
